Our Mission
In 2003, Warren, Vermont resident, Shawn Sullivan started a golf tournament to raise money to assist families of military deployed Vermonters. Over the last fifteen years, Shawn has been committed to organizing this event and the result has raised more than $213,000.00 for the Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation. When our sister nonprofit, the November 11th Foundation, heard that the 2018 Golf Tournament would be its last, The Foundation felt it was critical that the event Shawn has established, continue to raise money for Vermont National Guard members and their families in need. This nonprofit has been established to continue this annual tournament and all of its proceeds continue supporting the Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation.
Working Together
The Vermont Troops and Families.org will be working collaboratively with the November 11th Foundation, so that together, we may help Vermont military members, veterans and their families in need.
